Touch-A-Truck Event Brings Children Behind The Wheel 

Fire trucks, police cars, and big rigs. These are just a few things kids and their families got to experience up close and personal today.Camp CaPella held its annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday.Children were able to experience various vehicles from right behind the wheel.All the proceeds give children with disabilities a chance to attend Camp CaPella.”These are children with physical and developmental disabilities, all having an opportunity to come to a summer camp that frankly not a lot of them have that opportunity. This is a community supporting a great cause,” Executive Director, Dana Mosher said.This year the event was held at Speedway 95, giving them a wide area to work with.Last year’s Touch-A-Truck raised 7-thousand dollars.
