Life in the American Revolution at Leonard’s Mills 

History buffs get to experience life in the American Revolution this weekend in Bradley.The Maine Forest and Logging Museum is presenting an American Revolution re-enactment at Leonard’s Mills.They are showing all sides of the revolution including women behind-the-scenes cooking and spinning.They also have the opposing armies.”We have representatives from the 74th Highlanders, who were stationed at Fort George, what today is Castine. And we also have the 2nd Mass Regime, Massachusetts Regime, and the 11th Massachusetts Regiment,” said Anette Rodrigues the President of the Maine Forest and Logging Museum.People are welcome to speak with re-enactment participants to gain more knowledge of their roles in the war.If you missed today’s event, the re-enactment is also happening on Sunday.
