There will be wheels on the waterfront this coming weekend, with the Bangor Car Show. The event, hosted by the Greater Bangor Convention and Visitors Bureau, will run rain or shine. Nearly 200 new and classic cars are already registered for the event. Another 100 are expected to sign up Saturday morning. “You are going to see everything from the 1930’s, I think we have one registered, all the way up to today and we are going to bring that today forward a little bit. Darlings is one of our sponsors and they are brining a Ford Fusion Energy, which is an electric car, for people to test drive while they’re there,” said Kerrie Tripp, executive director of the Greater Bangor Convention and Visitors Bureau. The event begins at 8 am this Saturday and runs until 2 pm. Cars will be lined up along Front Street, near the Sea Dog restaurant. Its free to attend or you can register your own car for $15.
