A man from the Brewer area accused of killing a fellow inmate at the Maine State Prison four years ago will be held without bail – when authorities can find him. 34-year-old John Thibeault failed to appear in Knox County Superior Court Thursday in connection with his manslaughter case. The judge ordered he’ll have no bail after he’s arrested. Assistant Attorney General Leane Zainea says an arrest warrant was issued for Thibeault in May when the person who posted his bail withdrew it and authorities couldn’t find Thibeault.Thibeault was in prison for robbery in 2009 when 64-year-old Sheldon Weinstein was killed. Weinstein was confined to a wheelchair and died of blunt force injuries.Thibeault was charged more than two years later. He was freed last fall when he finished his robbery sentence and he made bail on the manslaughter charge.
