Lots of trucks will be in Hermon this weekend, and you get to check them out. For the third year, Camp CaPella is hosting a Touch-A-Truck Fair. Kids and adults will be able to look at big rigs, fire trucks, police cars, the Mobile Crime Lab, a helicopter, and more. The money goes to Camp CaPella in Dedham. ” All of this benefits children with disabilities being able to come to summer camp, that’s what this is about, but it’s also a great opportunity for kids and families to have a great family day doing something they just don’t get a chance to do very often,” said Dana Mosher, executive director of Camp CaPella. ” It seems like parents enjoy the event just as much as kids, to be able to come and see some unique vehicles,” added Chief Deputy Troy Morton, with the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office. Touch-A-Truck is Saturday from 11am – 3pm at Speedway 95 in Hermon. Tickets are $5 per person or $20 for families.
