Maine Sells Liquor Bond to Pay Back Hospitals

Governor LePage says Maine’s hospitals will soon be getting about $490-million dollars for unpaid Medicaid services.The state has sold the $220-million dollar liquor operation revenue bond.The state will pay more than $183-million dollars and get a federal match of $306.7 million to complete payments.Hospitals should get the payments this month.
