UMaine In Orono Says Hello To The Class Of 2017 

School will be back in session soon at the University of Maine in Orono. Friday they welcomed the freshman class.Staff and student volunteers helped with the “Maine Hello” to the class of of 2017.It was a busy day for the black bears.They say it’s all part of the UMaine spirit.”This is, I think, one of the most magnificent days of the year. it’s called the Maine Hello, and we have 2,200 brand-new students coming to the university with their families, and friends, and loved ones, and we’re welcoming them with open arms and a real sense of joy or the coming academic year,” said Robert Dana, Vice President of Student Affairs.As students get familiar with campus life, they’ll attend a number of orientations.Saturday, they’ll all participate in a day of service.
