Enfield Man Accused of Breaking Into Bradford Convenience Store; Police Looking for Female Suspect

A man from Enfield is in jail on $1,000 bail, accused of breaking into a convenience store in Bradford.Police are still looking for the woman they say helped him do it. 30-year-old Dale Phillips is charged with burglary and theft. Police say he and a woman broke into Bradford General Store about 3 a.m. Wednesday, getting in through an area that’s under construction.They’re accused of stealing cigarettes and lottery tickets, all worth about $2,000. We’re told the two were caught on surveillance video. Phillips was arrested in Milford. He made his first court appearance Friday. State police are trying to find the woman seen with him on the security camera. She’s described as 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, 140 to 150 pounds, with dark hair and in her late 20s or early 30s.Anyone with information in the case can call State Police at 866-2121 and ask for Trooper Grant or Stedman.
