Friday was the first full day of fun at the Blue Hill Fair. Hancock County residents have been enjoying the fair since 1891. They have everything from lumber jacks to flying, frisbee-catching dogs. Of course, don’t miss out on the delicious and greasy fair food like dough boys, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, and cotton candy.”We do some things maybe a little differently than other fairs we try to emphasize agriculture as much as possible and at the same time we provide a lot of mechanical thrills and entertainment.” said Blue Hill Fair President, Rob Eaton. The fair runs until Monday, September 2nd. For a full list of events you can visit bluehillfair.com.
