Bangor Brewery and Pub Expanding After City Council Approval

Geaghan’s Restaurant and Pub in Bangor is expanding their brewery.The plan was approved at Monday night’s city council meeting.With the new space, they’ll be able to double their beer product.They’re also adding 60 new parking spots.Owner, Peter Geaghan, says a lot of the credit for the success of their brewery goes to the city.”Having a vision, and seeing an area on this side of Bangor that they could change it for the better, and not just fit Geaghan’s, but all the businesses on this end of Main Street are feeling this, and seeing development.”Geaghan says they plan on having the expansion and parking lot completed by the winter.He says they’re preparing for an increase in business with the opening of the new Cross Insurance Center.
