Norridgewock Man Hired to Teach in Farmington Accused of Sexually Assaulting Two Boys

A man from Norridgewock recently hired as a special education teacher in Farmington is in jail on $100,000, accused of sexually abusing two autistic brothers.27-year-old Patrik Arsenault is charged with two state counts of gross sexual assault and one federal count of sexual exploitation of a minor.The Kennebec County District Attorney says the alleged victims are 6 and 7-year-old brothers. Aresenault was set to begin working at W.G. Mallett Elementary School in Farmington soon. He was arrested Wednesday while state police were investigating him for having child pornography. D.A. Maeghan Maloney says during that investigation, police found video of Arsenault assaulting a child. She says Arsenault then confessed that in July he’d sexually abused the two boys in Belgrade.
