Another Man Sentenced for Role in Crack Cocaine Ring in Bangor

Another man convicted for his role in a crack cocaine ring in Bangor is going to prison. 48-year-old Ed Cogswell was sentenced in federal court Tuesday to 15 years behind bars.He’s one of 13 people charged in connection with a drug bust in Bangor more than a year-and-a-half ago. Police raided five apartments – four on Ohio Street and one on Garland Street. On Monday, 45-year old Christopher Mullins was sentenced to 11 years and 8 months in federal prison. He was found guilty in October.Mullins and Cogswell were considered middlemen. Two men from New York helped run the operation and were sentenced in June. 29-year-old Manuel Trinidad-Acosta was ordered to serve 20 years in prison. 30-year-old Dawlin Cabrera was given 10 years.Both are appealing their cases.
