Maine State Police are investigating the death of an employee at Moark Egg Farm in Turner. Police say a 57-year-old man died Monday afternoon. Police say the man was wounded as another worker was shooting a rifle to kill rodents and stray chickens. According to a press release from Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman, Steve McCausland, the victim “collapsed attempting to leave the barn and died as he was being transported by ambulance to a Lewiston hospital.”An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. The name of the victim has not been released at this time.
