A man from Searsmont is in jail, accused of ramming his truck into a vehicle belonging to his daughter’s male friend.Waldo County Chief Deputy Jeff Trafton says Sunday afternoon, 49-year-oldRandall Tolman arrived at his daughter’s home to find the man there.Trafton says Tolman became upset and drove his truck into the other man’s car, while the man was inside.We’re told Tolman then used a hammer to smash the windows of the vehicle.Tolman also reportedly told deputies he had planned to beat up the man.Tolman is charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and aggravated criminal mischief.Tolman’s daughter, 25-year-old Shelby Tolman, was summonsed for criminal conspiracy.No information was available about that charge.
