Vegas Raffle Raises Money for Camp CaPella, Food Pantry 

The Brewer Eagles are sending a couple on a vacation to Sin City.The group started collected raffle tickets a few months ago.After selling 1,000 tickets and raising $10,000 for the Vegas trip raffle, they decided to help out some local organizations with the extra cash.Saturday, they gave $5,000 to Camp Capella, a camp for special needs children and adults.Another thousand dollars went to the Hammond Street Congregational Church food pantry.Vice President of the Brewer Eagles 3177, Randy Bates, “We do charities from November trough may every year and raise money for different organizations. Children’s fund, the Heart fund, the Kidney funds. And we do that for six months.”
