Man Arrested in Connection with an Attack of Machias Saving Bank’s CEO 

Washington County Sheriff’s Office have made an arrest in a bizzare attack against the CEO of Machias Savings Bank.Sheriff Donnie Smith said Delwyn Huntley, 42, was arrested after a confrontation with Edward Hennessey Jr. in Whitneyville. The incident happened Thursday.Officials said Huntley showed up on the farm and started pounding on the CEO and then left in his car.Hennessey’s sons and Sheriff Smith followed him, but Huntley refused to stop.Deputies eventually used a spike strip to stop the car.The officers recovered a pistol from Huntley’s vehicle along with knives and meat cleavers, which were not used in the attack. Huntley is facing various charges, including assault.As of Friday evening, Huntley is in custody in the Washington County Jail.
