A program is looking for help as kids get ready to return to school.Junior Achievement is recruiting volunteers. The program teaches students of all ages entrepreneurship skills. It works with more than 10,000 kids throughout Maine.”It gives us the ability to go out there and fill these kids with knowledge. It’s a great program that we do statewide, just giving us the ability to give them the financial education that they need and the economic understanding of what’s going on in the world, and how to be prepared for it going into the future,” said co-chair of the board of directors, Chris Klenk. They’re looking for volunteers like business professionals, retirees, and parents. If you’d like more information, call 347-4333, or, log on to jamaine.org.
