Former High School Principal Pleads Guilty to Leaving the Scene of an Accident
Central High School’s former principal has pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident. Garry Spencer was accused of crashing into a parked car, leaving the scene, and filing a false report. As part of a plea deal, some of the charges were dropped. Spencer must pay a $1,000 fine.Spencer’s attorney, Jeff Silverstein, tells TV 5 that doctors determined Spencer had a seizure the day of the accident. Spencer resigned last month after doctors told him he should avoid stressful situations, according to Silverstein.
