Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to pull a man from his vehicle on Thomaston Street in Rockland, Saturday. Rockland Police tell WABI-TV5 23-year-old Dustin Prescott of St. George was travelling over the speed limit when he flipped his car just after noon. The car was pinned against a tree on the driver’s side and it took rescue workers 15 to 20 minutes to pull him from the vehicle. Police say Precott was not wearing his seat belt at the time. He was transported via Rockland Rescue to Penobscot Bay Medical Center. He has non-life threatening injuries. Prescott is charged with driving to endanger.
