Millinocket Councilors Send School Budget to Voters for Third Time 

Town councilors in Millinocket are hoping the third time’s a charm when it comes to the school budget.Voters have twice turned down a plan. The latest, a $6.3 million dollar budget was rejected by just 10 votes earlier this month.That proposal was the council’s version, about $300,000 less than what the school department proposed.Thursday night, town councilors voted to re-submit their plan to voters.A third vote is scheduled for August 20th.
