Inmate Enters Pleas in Separate Attacks at State Prison 

A Maine state prison inmate has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to charges of murdering one inmate and and assaulting another.42-year-old Guy Hunnewell is accused of killing 57-year-old Alan Powell, in June.Police say Hunnewell attacked Powell in an exercise area of the prison.Friday, he pleaded not guilty to the murder charge as well as not guilty by reason of insanity.He entered the same pleas in connection with an attack on James Brensinger.Hunnewell is accused of assaulting him at the prison in January.Hunnewell is serving a 40-year sentence for killing his girlfriend.
