Free Butterfly Walk In Bangor For All Ages

There’s something aflutter in Bangor.This Sunday at 2pm a butterfly expert will be leading a walk in the Walden-Parke Preserve.It’s part of 700 acres owned by the Bangor Land Trust.Along the 1.5 mile walk, you’ll see butterflies’ natural habitat.You’re sure to see other flying insects, flowers, maybe even some wildlife.”It’s wilderness, We buy parcels of land and we try to piece it all together to have an extended piece of property where there’s a good diversity of wildlife and flowers and animals alike,” said Karla Gustafson, a Bangor Land Trust Committee Chairperson.All ages and fitness levels are welcome to join in.Comfy shoes and long pants are recommended.For more information go to bangorlandtrust.org..
