Bangor Police Officer Helps Save Man’s Life 

A Bangor Police officer helped save the life of a man who was later arrested.Officer Jeremy Brock responded to a report of a man who appeared to be dead by Mansfield Stadium.Bangor Police tell TV 5 that when Brock arrived, he performed CPR on Michael Kashey, 34, of Dedham.A woman on the scene told the officer that Kashey had injected himself with heroin 10 minutes prior to his collapse. He was transported to Eastern Maine Medical Center where he was later arrested.Police said he had a bottle of Butalbital pills, which were not prescribed to him, and an illegal switchblade knife. Kashey is charged with possession of Heroin, drug charges and 5 warrants. He is being held at Penobscot County Jail.
