Golfers Tee Off For The 17th Annual CMN Golf Classic In Hermon

Friday was a great day to hit the greens for a good cause.Golfers were at Hermon Meadow for the 17th Annual Children’s Miracle Network Golf Classic. The event raises money for CMN.It’s also a way to provide support to those battling illnesses, as well as family members. This was a favorite event for Joellyn Alexander’s son, Sam, who lost his battle with cancer two years ago.”This was the second tournament he played in that last summer that we had him, and he had a really fun experience, and everybody at Children’s Miracle Network is great anyway. Children’s Miracle Network has supported us all the way through his treatments and still support us today,” said Alexander.”What’s really, really nice about this tournament is we have so many of the same golfers who come on out each and every year. They really look forward to this tournament each year,” said Kelly Pearson, the director of EMHS Foundation Children’s Miracle Network. The tradition continued this year with a putting and a chipping contest before the tournament.
