University of Maine System to Help Students Who Never Graduated

Updated 1 year ago

University of Maine System trustees are meeting to consider ways to help adults who attended college but never received a degree. Trustees are considering scholarships, professional development and other enhancements as part of a comprehensive plan to serve adults who left college without getting a degree. A report presented to trustees, who meet Monday in Bangor, indicates about 200,000 Maine adults fall in that category. The proposed enhancements are part of the Adult Baccalaureate Completion Distance Education Project, which is designed to increase success of nontraditional students.
