Sebasticook Valley Health Reveals Room Upgrades 

A Health Center in Pittsfield is revealing its new look.Sebasticook Valley Health is making a major milestone in their “Right Thing to Do” campaign.They’ve been renovating and adding a new wing to their inpatient facilities. Those rooms were originally built in 1963.The facility can still hold 25 patients, but they now offer 15 private rooms and 5 suites.Acting CEO of Sebasticook Valley Health, Terri Vieira, said the new rooms gives patients that “home feel” and it’s also beneficial for anyone visiting. “It’s also important from a clinical stand point to help a kid any chance of spreading infections we can put patients in private rooms so it’s both a comfort and clinical reason for us to do this.”>The money for the project came from savings, a capital campaign, and loans.
