Police: Knife Wielding Fairfield Man Arrested For Entering Home And Threatening To “slice up” Residents

Police say a Fairfield man broke into a home on Crane Drive in Fairfield and threatened the people inside, including children, with a pair of knives Wednesday night.Interim Fairfield Police Chief Joe Massey tells us 53-year-old Roland Grose was drunk when he went into the house and threatened to “slice” the people up. Massey says witnesses reported that Grose was clanging the knives together and making sexually explicit comments to the girls in the house. Police say the dispute began earlier in the night. Groce told them he was involved in a fight with people at that residence earlier in the evening and said he “was pushed down a flight of stairs.”Gross is charged with aggravated reckless conduct. As of Friday afternoon he was still in the Somerset County Jail where he’s being held on $500 cash bail.If convicted he could spend 10 years in jail.
