The principal of Central High School in Corinth has resigned.The RSU 64 school board unanimously accepted Garry Spencer’s letter of resignation Wednesday. Old Town Police say that in May, Spencer admitted to driving a vehicle that struck two parked cars.He’s accused of leaving the scene after the accident. Spencer first reported the car stolen then, three days later, told police that he was, in fact, behind the wheel. The school board’s vice chair James Connolly says that Superintendent Daniel Higgins received the resignation letter and read it to the board. Former principal Marty Gray will serve as interim principal.
