A camera designed to capture images of wildlife caught something completely different in Ellsworth. Police there say one resident’s decision to install the camera outside his home helped them catch a thief. 39-year-old Jason Moody of Southwest Harbor was charged with class C theft last week. The homeowner says he put the camera up when he noticed that things were going missing. According to police, Moody stole car parts, and other items with a total value of more than $4,000. The items were taken over a two week period. Moody is due to appear in court on August 22nd.
