Two men are recovering from stabbing related injuries tonight. It all stemmed from an argument at Phinney’s Bar in Lubec just before midnight yesterday. 42-year-old Peter Lyons of Trescott is charged with aggravated assault. State Police say that during an argument with a man, he took a knife out. Another man tried to get between the two and was stabbed by Lyons. Police tell us his nose was nearly slashed off. The other man suffered a stab wound as well. Both men were taken to Down East Community Hospital in Machias. One of the victims was transported to EMMC in Bangor.
