Popular Children’s Book Character Hiding in Downtown Bangor

A popular children’s book character is hiding out in downtown Bangor. “Where’s Waldo” is usually found in books, but in Bangor you have to find him in local businesses. This is the second year the search is taking place in Bangor. Twenty-five businesses are taking part in the fun. ” It brings people into a lot of the different businesses downtown that they may not have gone into before or haven’t been into for a long time,” said Gibran Graham, marketing manager for Briar Patch Books. To play, just pick up a passport at any of the shops taking part in the game. If you find twenty or more Waldo’s you are entered into a grand prize drawing. You have all month to search for Waldo. Prizes will be given out at a “Where’s Waldo” party on July 31st at 3pm. For more information, click here.
