Union Man Hit With Baseball Bat After Breaking Into Ex-Wife’s Home 

The Knox county sheriff’s office is investigating a scuffle between a man from Union and his ex-wife’s boyfriend.Deputies say 22-year-old Craig Holmes, along with Jason Brassard of Washington, forced their way into the home of Holmes’ ex-wife.Police say her current boyfriend hit Holmes on the head with a baseball bat. They tell us Holmes and Brassard left and wound up crashing in the car they were in.Both are charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor assault.Holmes is also charged with OUI.
