Updated 10 months ago

Authorities are continuing to investigate the death of a 9-month-old baby girl from Bath. Deputy Attorney General William Stokes told the Portland Press Herald, that the state medical examiner had performed an autopsy on Jaelyn Malcolm. But he said he couldn’t comment on the results. Malcolm died Friday after being taken to the hospital by her mother, Danielle Malcolm, on Thursday. A state police spokesman has said the baby girl had unexplained injuries. He said police had interviewed Malcolm and her live-in boyfriend, Benjamin McNeil. The paper could not reach Malcolm on Sunday. On her Facebook page, Malcolm wrote that she was tired of people asking her if she needed anything. She said all she needed was her baby girl back in her arms.
