USGS Reports 2.6M Earthquake In Sidney Area Friday Morning 

According to the US Geological Survey, there was a 2.6 magnitude earthquake in Maine Friday morning.State Police have reported taking at least a dozen phone call from people in the area.Reports from people in Vassalboro, Belgrade, and Waterville have reported feeling the tremor.It happened at 6:14am.On the USGS Website the epicenter is listed as 1 mile West of Sidney, 7 miles North of Augusta, 11 miles Southwest of Waterville.No reports of any damage or injuries at this time.
