A body found in the woods off Route 97 in Cushing is believed to be that of a man missing for more than two weeks. 31-year-old Kevin Crute was last seen May 21st when he was dropped off at Ande’s Market in Warren. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says an autopsy is scheduled to be performed on the body this weekend to positively identify it and determine the cause of death. Thursday Crute’s family offered a $10,000 reward for information that could help find him. Knox County deputies, state police, the Major Crimes unit, Maine Game Wardens and Maine Marine Patrol have all been investigating Crute’s disappearance.They interviewed more than 80 people to try to track him down. Deputies say Crute’s body was found just before 10 a.m. by a search and rescue dog team.
