Motorcycle Ride Will Honor Marine And Benefit Wounded Warriors Project

Next month motorcycles will fire up in Searsport and head to Brewer and back in memory of a US Marine.Ryan’s Ride will raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project in the name of Master Sergeant Ryan Love served for 16 years, and about a year ago he took his own life.Now his family and friends want to keep his memory alive by holding a charity motorcycle ride, and cookout July 20th.His Mother-in-Law, Raye Rolston, is putting together the event. “It’s been 10 months and we’re still in shock, we wake up every morning wondering if it was a bad dream, hoping it was a bad dream, but he did not like any recognition for anything, and I know he’s looking down on me right now and he’s probably a little irritated that I’m doing this but he’s going to have to suck it up.”The ride will be led by Ryan’s bike.If you can’t make it and want to still donate in care of Ryan’s Ride to TD Bank in Searsport.The ride is Saturday July 20th staring at 10am, with a rain date of the 21st.It’s 20 dollars for a motorcycle and rider, 10 bucks for a passenger and 10 dollars for a car.For more information call 322-7276, and they are planning a casual cookout after the ride.
