Bangor College Graduation Rate Increases 

This years graduating class at Eastern Maine Community College was the largest in the school’s history.With more than four-hundred graduates, the graduation rate is up six percent. EMCC President Lawrence Barrett says new initiatives are addding to their students’ success, “Voluntary doesn’t cut it anymore, we’re mandatory, having mandatory orientations for students we’re really engaging students early in their college process to try to make sure they’re going to get online to graduate, because it is about graduation.”The school will also have additional classes this summer to help students stay on track.
