Bangor City Councilor Raises Money for Nichole Cable’s Family

Since the discovery of 15-year-old Glenburn teen Nichole Cable’s body, community members have been showing their support for the family.Now, Bangor City Councilor Ben Sprague and his wife are helping out.The Sprague’s are auctioning a pair of Red Sox/Yankees tickets for August 17th at Fenway Park in honor of Nichole.They’ve placed the tickets on eBay. The highest bidder will also get to go on the field for batting practice and have their names displayed on the jumbotron during the game.Although the couple says they don’t know Cable’s family, they believe it’s important to support the community.The Bangor City Councilor said, “We are going to talk to the family and friends of the family to see what they most appropriate use of it is. Whether it’s for some kind of memorial, whether it’s to cover part of the funeral expenses. Really whatever the family things is best for the money, that’s where it will go.”The bidding will come to an end on June 7th.
