Body Found in Rubble of Monroe Fire 

A body was found in Monroe Friday morning in the rubble of a fire from Thursday night.The State Fire Marshal’s Office said the body is believed to be Randy Oliver, 56, who lived in the home on Jackson Road.Investigators said the fire started around 11pm on Thursday and the body was discovered at 6am on Friday.The remains were found in the basement of the home. The body will be examined and identified by the Medical Examiner’s Officer. Investigators said because of the damage to the home, it is unlikely they will find a cause.
