Bargain Hunters Prepare for 10-Mile Yard Sale in Cornville and Skowhegan
Hundreds of bargain hunters are expected to stop at a massive yard sale in Central Maine this weekend.It stretches 10 miles through Cornville and Skowhegan.This is the 30th year for the sale, which started with just a few families getting together in Cornville. Eventually it jumped to three-miles, then six-miles to what it is today.Dozens of local lawns and vacant lots are turned into a huge flea market.The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th, rain or shine. It begins at Cass’s Corner in Cornville on Route 150 and runs to Route 2 in Skowhegan. Lots of side roads along the way are also part of the sale.
