A Hampden woman was seriously burned late Wednesday night. Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland says Jennifer Seekings, 37, jumped from a second floor window of her burning house. It happened around 11:30pm Wednesday on Main Road North. McCausland says Seekings has burns over half of her body. Fire investigators say the fire was likely started by either a cigarette or a candle. Seekings is being treated at Massachusetts General Hospital. No one else was hurt.
