Updated 2 years ago

Over 100 antique cars went for a little test drive this weekend.A car show was held to raise money for Hermon High School’s Project Graduation. The seniors are planning an overnight celebration at the school.Organizers say there hasn’t been a car show in Hermon since the 90s.They hope this test drive will help revive the old tradition and make a comeback at Hermon’s bicentennial celebration next year. With such a high turnout, students were tooting their own horns.Senior Joey Martin said, “I feel that is has gone excellent. It has exceeded all expectations. I did not expect this kind of turnout. I hoped there would be this big of a turnout, but I didn’t think this would happen.”Students hoped to raise over $2,000 with the car show, which was their last fundraiser before project grad.
