A domestic disturbance call turned into a major police response in Bangor Friday evening. Around 3:20 P.M. officers received a call that a man was threatening suicide with a gun. They responded to a home on Elm Street as neighbors watched from windows as police approached the house with guns drawn. That road was partially closed along with neighboring Garland Street. Thursday night police went to the same home after a reported domestic assault.The suspect, Harold J. Rodgers, of Bangor was not home at the time. He was arrested by police and could be charged with felony aggravated domestic assault. Rodgers is currently being held at the Penobscot County Jail.
