An antique appraisal show is taking place in Orono on Saturday. A licensed appraiser and jewelry appraiser will be at Dirigo Pines. The appraisers will not buy or sell any items, they will just tell you what they are worth. The event is a fundraiser for Rosscare LiveSafe, an emergency response service. ” At the press of a button that’s going to signal a call to the operator 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and get that person help,” explained Jennifer Maskala, with Rosscare. The Antique Appraisal Show is Saturday from 10am to 2pm at Dirigo Pines in Orono. It costs $10 for one item, $18 for two items, and $25 to get three items appraised. The event is open to everyone. Dirigo Pines is located at 9 Alumni Drive in Orono.
