Rockport Man Accused of Sexual Assault May Go to Trial This Summer 

A registered sex offender from Rockport accused of sexually assaulting a teenager could go on trial this summer.54-year-old Arthur Dodge pleaded not guilty last week to gross sexual assault and unlawful sexual contact. His bail was originally set at $50,00 but a judge reduced it to allow Dodge to leave jail.He was released on Friday. Police say the incident took place last year. Dodge’s lawyer says his client’s case might go to trial as soon as June.In 1990 Dodge was convicted of unlawful sexual contact and is required to be on the sex offender list of the rest of his life.
