Bangor Land Trust Celebrates Earth Day with a Trail Walk

What better way to celebrate Earth day than enjoying the great outdoors?The Bangor Land Trust held a walk on the Penjajawoc trail to do just that.Attendees were offered a field guide, which was put together by a student intern, making it easier to identify trail areas.It was an opportunity for people to get out and enjoy what nature has to offer.Board Member of the Bangor Land Trust Shirley Ellis said, “We have a lovely area that’s very close to many people in the greater Bangor area. It’s about a 2 mile loop, it’s well marked, and you get to see a variety of habitats.”The Bangor Land Trust has over 800 acres of preserved land that are open and free to the public.To learn more about upcoming walks, visit bangorlandtrust.org
