A man from Greenbush accused of taking part in a major bath salts operation pleaded not guilty Thurdsay. Leonard Wells, 53, is one of four people charged in connection with the case. Police say he owns a home in Hermon where the state’s largest bath salts bust took place in January. Authorities say the investigation that started there led them to more than $1 million worth of the drug. Some was also found in a shipment from Maine to Texas. Authorities say the drugs originated from China. The three other people in the case were indicted last month, along with Wells – 29-year-old Stephen Warren of Corinth, 31-year-old Elizabeth Fuentes and 49-year-old Arthur Coy, both of Texas. Warren was also supposed to appear in court Thursday but his case was postponed.
