Bangor Car Dealership Collects Items For Homeless Pets

Quirk Subaru in Bangor is partnering with the Bangor Humane Society to make sure homeless pets are well taken care of.They’re trying to “Fill a Forrester” with items the humane society is lacking.They need things like, food, litter, toys, and blankets.”We’ve had a little traffic the last two days, we just started, but I think everyone is excited to help out again,” said Tim Morin, sales manager at Quirk Subaru.”They’re hoping to collect a lot of donations for us over the next month to help all the homeless pets over at the humane society. We are getting into our busy time of year. We usually, in May, our intake numbers double from what they are through the winter months. We lots of underage kittens, pregnant moms, stray dogs, that kind of thing, and it requires a lot of supplies,” said Stacey Conventry, public relations manager at the Bangor Humane Society.If you’d like to donate items, you can bring them right to the Quirk Subaru showroom on Hogan Road.You can also drop items off at the Bangor Humane Society.For a complete list of things the animals at the shelter needs, click on bangorhumane.org.
