Local Congregation Celebrates Easter in Two Churches

Updated 2 years ago

A local congregation celebrated their first Easter in their new church. Many folks came out to celebrate at the Rock Church, which held two services for the Easter celebration. The old church is also being put to good use. That’s where the children celebrated with an Easter egg hunt. The pastor says they have big plans with all this extra space. He says the other church is being used as a children’s ministry.”It’s wonderful to dedicate an entire building to children and during the week we’re going to be starting a daycare as well so it’s going to be children all week long,” said Pastor Kirk Winters. “It’s just much simpler, much easier to have our own space large enough to accommodate everyone, so we’re happy about that.”The 200 children who attended got to find over 1,400 eggs.
