Bradford Home Destroyed by Fire

An unoccupied house in Bradford burned overnight Friday.Crews were called to the vacant house on the Wilder Davis Road a little before 11 pm Thursday. When they arrived, the two-story home was already engulfed in flames and the roof had collapsed.According to Bradford Fire Chief Dustin Kelley, no one had been living in the house for awhile.Chief Kelley says road conditions made it tough getting to the home. The ground was soft in some parts and the last half-mile was a discontinued town road.Fire fighters from five towns spent about four hours on the scene. An investigator from the Fire Marshal’s office was also there. No word yet on a cause.
